I see that winter Chinook is open in MA13.  Are there any 22" salmon out there this time of year and are they reasonably catchable from a kayak?

You're going to have to dive deep into old fishing books and old newspaper articles for this one buddy, nobody down here talks about blackmouth outside their immediate friend group.

Haha, ok.  I wasn't asking for anyone's secret spot, just a general idea about the possibility of finding legal fish this time of year.

They're around in 13 and 12 all year, a lot of time and effort to find them though.

Thanks for the reply.  I was skunked after several tries in 11 last year.  I'm set up a little better this season, and am looking for the next thing.
