I will be in the Tacoma Seattle area all next week for Christmas and maybe longer, was wondering if any groups or individuals will be going out for some Squid on their kayak?

I only squid from dock, never with kayak. Squid from a kayak should be better in daylight, night time is too dangerous (big boat might not see you) or when you flip over, no one around to save you. Be careful. Squid fishing is addictive, make sure you don't get hook too deep or you will be visiting Seattle/Tacoma more than you want. Ha Ha Ha.

Lol, Was planning daytime. Already got the bug from last time I was over, was thinking I could do much better out of yak.
Will probably not bring yak over if I can’t find anyone else to launch with.

Met some guys this summer while crabbing. They had squid fished off a pier during snow-meggedon and scored a ton of squid. They said it was cold as all get out doing it at night in those conditions, but the squid were really active.

Went to great wheel last night and caught 22 squid (2.1 lbs) in 2.5 hours. I is the only one there.

Heading over from Spokane Friday, gonna hit the sportsman show in Puyallup and hopefully try another round of Squidding while I’m over.
Last time I went there was ice on the pier.
