This year's AOTY is really starting off well. Last year I was the first to enter and it was in mid February. Only halfway through January and we've got four people on the board already. AWESOME!! I hope we can see our first full cards this year. Let's go people!!!!

Speaking of starting off well.. don't forget you need to pay before you play to earn points.  There are quite a few folk from last year that have not paid yet.

Meanwhile you may notice that I moderated a couple AOTY entries.  I won't name names, but some were a bit generous with their measurements and others a bit shy.   Just so you know, feel free to record to fractions of an inch (in decimal format please, i.e. 1/4" = 0.25"), but don't round up.  The changes I made are only fractions of an inch here or there  and didn't change anyone's standings.   If you think I've robbed you of some points provide me with a better photo or at least a witness who has also entered AOTY this year.

Umm, a public assurance that wherry-caught fish would be eligible might help someone. ::)

Wherry?  What wherry? My definition of a kayak is a small, long skinny boat.  I normally would add that they are propelled by a double bladed paddle, but then Zee and CoosBayYakker (among others) wouldn't be able to participate either.  ;D  Sure the "kayak" I saw on top of you car was a bit big and unconventional, but it was kayak enough for me.  As long as no one else has an objection I think you should be allowed to participate again this year.

Judges decisions are final, right?  I vote to let PS in.  He's super OG here at NWKA and has been with us from the beginning.  That makes 3 of us judges in agreement.  If anyone is in violent agreement, send me a PM.
