First thing I did was go to Navionics site and register MSD card, and uploaded updates (SmartCharts and community) to the card.

Then put in finder. Went to map only page, clicked “accept” button (second up from right) and menu appears on R.

Select “more options”

Select “chart options”

Click on SmartChart (or SonarChart, can’t remember) and Community updates. When those options are selected/live, a little red tab shows up in the bottom R of each one.

Go back to main screen, new detail shows up after a few seconds.

That’s pretty shitty. Do you still have a valid subscription? I think you can just put  the maps onto any sd card

Navionics maps are locked to the card serial number which is stored on the hardware.
