Another question. Why is the camo version more expensive? I’m assuming there’s some upgraded stuff on it? If so is it worth it?

on the Compass, it looks like the Camo comes with MD180 (reversing drive) with kick-up fins.  other colors come with GT (forward only drive) with kick-up fins.  so the extra cost is better drive and fancy paint.

on the Outback, the extra for Camo is just for the fancy paint.

FYI-  I didn't know how much I was going to like the MD180 drive until I got it with my Outback; I would never go back to a forward only drive.

I think the MD180 is 100% worth the cost and couldn't imagine using a Hobie without (or at least not being INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATED).

FYI-  Hobie has an excellent forum:

https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=53

great way to get info directly from their experts and support team (Matt Miller has gone above and beyond to help me with several things).  You also get the chance to interact with Hobie users from around the world.  cheers, roger
