Some cat posted a nice pic of 20-" muskie from Merwin on the ifish site.  I asked if I could copy his pix to here but have not heard....

JIm Bradley caught this nice one in Merwin reservoir (lake??), some nasty choppers!

  Coming to the net:

This lake is not too far north for OR yakkers, and not too far south for us WA boys.  Wonder when it warms up and the fish get active??  Will check it out and reply here.

I doubt it was caught recently- too cold.

KT- Tapps Lake is pretty close to your stomping grounds, if you want to practice without a long drive. These things are called the "the fish of 10,000 casts."

NW Tiger Muskies has an online log of fish caught by members- http://www.nwtigermuskies.com/logs.html

Not all fish are logged, but the dates are interesting.

Is anyone else going to this seminar tomorrow?  I am seriously considering it.

I painted shark teeth on my yak today before it cooled off too much and need to wait for it to cure a bit.  I figure this seminar will be a good distraction.  I'll hit the water on Sunday.

I will be working tomorrow but, if I get off early enough, I might plunk a bit off the pier at Oaks Bottom Park. I'm on call Sunday so I'll be trolling the Willy and available to get to work in an hour or 2.
