I was introduced to this forum from running into a member on Vancouver Island BC. Hope to meet people, attend Tournaments and make new friends. I fish from a Jackson Kayak Big Tuna! I also recently started film and uploading many of my adventures to youtube.

Welcome to the Forum!  Lots of info and great folks here.

I just watched some of your videos.  I enjoyed them.  Couple of fishing suggestions though, 1) if you are going to be fishing somewhere where there's a chance you may get some Lingcod, do yourself a favor and make sure you have a set of fish grips with you.  Your fingers will thank you.  2) If the fish that you have hooked swims into the rocks, which they all will try to do, open your bell and let out some slack.  Watch for the slack to be taken up by them swimming out of the rocks then start reeling again.  Got to reel fast to keep them from the bottom.

Great videos though.  I can't wait to see some of your vids from the kayak.  You got yourself a new Subscriber.  Vancouver Island looks beautiful.

The Big tuna is Huge but  it sure works well as a crabbing vessel haha. I am looking into getting a pedal drive hopefully in the near future though. My youtube channel is in the signature.

Thank you!

Definitely! thank you so much for the tips! I have much to learn and I appreciate all the tips I can get. Currently At the moment I need to patch the Kayak since I got a crack in it. So I haven't gotten back on just yet.  Hopefully I will be able to do so soon!
