Dragged my Topwater 120 PDL out on a local selective gear rules lake for a morning of fishing Rainbow Trout using blob flies. If you are purist you might want to stop here because these flies are essentially the Powerbait of the fly world.

You're sitting in a kayak fishing with a fly rod... dude, the purists fainted a long time ago.

I owe the oldest Grandkids some lake fishing lessons and between the booby flies (I knew about them) and the blob flies (first I've heard of these) it might turn into a fun day.

Thanks!
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.
