Periodically the Lake Roosevelt Kokanee fishery cycles up to support very large Kokanee. We are experiencing one of the phases now. They seem to come and go every 3 or 4 years and then vanish again. Come get them while you can.

Awesome fish and great report. Which "peddle" boat are you using in that video? Is that your Oldtown PDL?

Yes that is my Old Town Topwater 120 PDL

Great video. Those are huge kokes!

You mentioned a two-fish limit. Does that apply to just the wild kokanee, or does it include the hatchery kokes as well? It's really surprising to hear about such a conservative daily bag limit for kokanee.

Yes 2 wild fish only. Hatchery fish the regular limit applies. I believe they are conservative simply because of the uncertainty about where these wild Kokanee originate.
