Hey NWKA brothers and sisters!

This is Nawm from NorCal, long time kayak fisherman now in my 20th year suffering from this particular addiction.  I know we have some "cross over" folks from the NCKA boards, but hello to the NWKA crew!  I'm happy I found this board covering the amazing destinations just to my north.  I spent some time as a kid living around Salem, and i still have family in the area, so while the country is not new to me, most of the kayaking opportunities are.

Will trade Puget Sound fishing trips for some Pliny, Damnation or Consecration.

Will trade Puget Sound fishing trips for some Pliny, Damnation or Consecration.

Done!  The town i live in, Windsor, is the location of the new gigantic Russian River Brewery and we are 15 minutes from the original in Santa Rosa.  Lots of good local brews around here, including Bear Republic, Henhouse, Barrel Brothers, Third Street Aleworks, etc...  Hit me up if anyone is doing some beer tourism, happy to point (or even lead) the way.  We do wine too...

I grew up and went to college in the Bay.

Nice Cali Butt!  I've been up here in Sonoma County for about 17 years now.  Originally from So Cal, which is where i first started kayak fishing back in 2000.  Won some money in an ABA bass tournament and used it to buy my first kayak, an old Cobra predecessor to their fish and dive model. Been committed to kayak fishing ever since.   

I first got on the Nor Cal Kayak Anglers board back around 2007, and have met many great people and made some life long friends.  From my short time on the NWKA board, looks like more of the same here!
