Kayaks have been a hot commodity this summer and with Covid disrupting supply chains its been a long wait for some kayak. I finally received my AutoPilot 120 from Old Town a few weeks ago and have been anxious to get it out on the water for a shakedown trip. I decided to hit a local lake for Kokanee. No kayak is perfect for anyone fishery but the AP120 excels as a trolling platform largely due to the amazing features packed into the PowerDrive trolling motor. As important as the kayak itself is choosing which battery to use and I've included a video laying out how I determined which battery was best.
