Does anyone know where I could get a replacement screw/nut for my Daiwa Reel Clamp?
Tanacom 750 electric reel.   The reel foot has a square slot that the head of this screw slides into.
Somehow, I lost one of the screw/nut posts, but I have all the remaining clamp pieces.

If you have an Ace Hardware close by you can try there.  They usually carry a wide assortment of different nuts and bolts.  That's usually my go to place when I need any out of the ordinary stuff.

Yeah, that clamp screw is very unique since it has a square shoulder just under the head of the screw.  The head of that screw is more like a rivet head, there is no flat or philips, and it's also very shallow to not interfere with the line on the spool of the reel when the clamp is attached.

I found the official DAIWA part, but was hoping maybe someone had a Daiwa reel clamp that they weren't using.  This style is used on quite a few of the Daiwa reels, but not all of them.  PENN has a different thread pitch for their reel clamps (of course I have 3 full sets of that style), but maybe I can make that work even though it isn't the correct fit.  Definitely not interchangeable. :'(

It's a carriage bolt but it has a modified head.  Even if you find one that small that also matches the thread pitch, you'll probably need to grind the head to match the profile of the one in the picture.

I hope someone has one for you.

Barb,
Go down to Robinettes hardware.
I know they have SS carriage bolts
Take the one you have and they probably can match the thread pitch.
Chuck in up the drill and file away.
