Strapped a GoPro to a squid jig

Just thought the salmon, flounder and squid were cool in this short clip.

Here's one with a bigger blackmouth taking a swipe at the squid jig. gf is hording all the cool stuff for some youtube video she's making. Having it decend into a massive squid school and having 15 attack it at once, octopus latching on to the weight, constant flounders, all the hundreds of squid that went and touched the jig but didn't get hooked. If there's anything I've learned from doing this GoPro it's that it's alive down there and a bunch of stuff goes on we have no clue about.

I like these underwater videos.  I have been eyeing the gofish camera but haven't pulled the plug yet.

Yeah what is interesting to me is how the spin like tops when they're hooked. I was wondering why yozuri put swivels in the noses of their jigs, makes sense now. I'll probably run the yozuri shrimp ones from now on, they definitely stay on better.

This is pretty cool! I gotta give the squidding thing a shot.
