Anybody want to  go? high tide is at 2:24 PM and 3:21 PM respectively. 10:00-11:00 am launch.

Dave, tell me more about this Suislaw Sturgeon fishery you learned about. How about a couple marks on the NWKA Google map. The link is in the shorebreak.

Good luck Roy.  Really looking forward to seeing some non-Willamette sturgeon reports.   I think I'm going to try Tillamook and Astoria myself this year.

Roy, I was just thinking of Sturgeon today as I drove across the bridge after coming back from the beach. The river was glass. If we get some rain, it might help bring some sturgeon into the river. I'll put some marks on the Google map.

Glad to see the ol'Google map going to good use.  I'm hoping to explore a bit this year and put some new launches down.

So what the best type of bait to use up there? Sand shrimp, frozen herring, or fresh fish???? How deep are the hole's? I need to make sure I have enough line on the reel.

I will go out Friday when the tide is out and suck up a bunch of sand shrimp. I will get enough for you to Roy if you want.

we can go on Friday if you want. fishing on yer Anniversary is draining the WAF tank completely...

I'll go either day, doesn't matter to me. Not sure what the weather is gonna be like, weather channel showed rain/showers for a week straight.

I guess we'll go to Winchester tentatively.

I wouldn't mind checking out the Florence spots Dave marked on the map. Looks like alot closer, assuming the launches are near. Hey Dave, where are the launches for these spots?

Friday would be better for me too!

The launch for the area in the Siuslaw across from the N.Fork would be the old town boat ramp. Not to far of a paddle, especially if going with the tides. The launch for the Cushman holes is just west of the railroad bridge. The Cushman hole is just a few hundred yards from that boat ramp. It's a bit more of a paddle up to the Dairy hole. Probably a mile? I can put the launch sites on the google map too!

I wouldn't mind checking out the Florence spots. Seems like farther north is better fishing....

What do you think Zac?
