Since some of you are newer to the sport of fishing and not just kayak fishing, I though I'd post up some other websites that have forums that are more focused towards general fishing in the NW.

Gamefishin ... http://www.gamefishin.com.  I hang out here almost as much as I hang out at NWKA.
Ifish ... http://www.ifish.net
Piscatorial Pursuits ... http://www.piscatorialpursuits.com.  Their forum has been down the past couple days due to a server upgrade.
Steelheader.net ... http://www.steelheader.net/home/default.shtml
Salmon University ... http://www.salmonuniversity.com/.  No forums but loads of info.
Washington lakes ... http://www.washingtonlakes.com/.  No forums, but they do have some on the Piscatorial Pursuits forum.
Washington Fly Fishing ... http://www.washingtonflyfishing.com/.  For you fly fishermen.

NorCal Kayak Anglers ... http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com.  Not the NW, but where I got my kayak fishing start.  The fishing in NorCal is very similar to the NW.  We sort of spun out as a sister site to NCKA.  There are also some other kayak fishing sites with NW subforums like www.kayakfishingstuff.com or www.kayak4fish.com (you've probably seen some postings from here at NWKA from Jim Sammons who runs the kayak4fish site).   Most of the NW people who have traditionally posted on these forums' NW subforums have ended up here at NWKA, but there is some good info to be had, and I still check them out occasionally and post every now and then.

I'm sure there are a lot more, but these are the ones in my bookmarks.  Post up others if you have them.

I'd never seen the Norcal site. Excellent stuff! Great to know somebody else was dum,, ahhhh,  brave enough to chase Sturgeon too.  ;)  Great tips. Can't wait to try them. Thanks!

FFtware, there are some absolute Dino madmen in Norcal. They've absolutely made that kind of fishing an artform. From fabricating custom anchor systems, custom poles, to custom snares for landing them. NCKA is an unbelievable wealth of yak fishing knowledge. So much so you'll just have to choose your niche and dig in.

Another good sites to know of if you ever fly fish.  Westfly - west wide, but Oregon is heavily represented.  www.westfly.com

While it's not Kayak specific, http://www.boatescape.com/searchb.asp gives a lot of information about fishing water in Oregon.  You can search by body of water, region, or species etc.  FYI.

Thanks Will, That's the link I can use this summer, as the wife wants to paddle some lakes.

This site is not to be missed. NOAA charts are almost as good as a fishfinder.
