I've never fished for bass.  Is Lake Washington worth trying?  It has the advantage of being very conveniently located, anyway.

Any tips on gear/bait or locations appreciated.

Definitely worth trying.  Lots of bass in the lake, but lots of water, so ya kinda have to pick a spot and go give it a shot.  Some nice SMB in there.

More of a smallmouth fishery (a great one) than largies but both are present. Dragging a 176 yamamoto grub will still catch smallies anywhere they swim in that lake.
