Thanks everyone.  Still have the newbie fears about cutting, drilling, etc even though I'm anxious to get the yak rigged up. 

No worries, the only thing that can go wrong is that you get the kind of goop that eats thru your hull, it traps air bubbles in it and you can't scrape it off your $75  transducer.  Other than that, it's a cake walk!!     >:D
