Bear pic was from the Nitinat (spelling?) river near the hatchery along the road to Bamfield. Thanks for the offer I definitely plan on heading back up! It's such a cool area.

I've done a few trips now where I did the 40 kilometers to get to the outside and it becomes a pedaling trip and not a fishing trip. Anyways, Bamfield looked awesome, thanks for sharing

South Island this summer I got 15lb ling from the kayak in Victoria. also had alot great action from Victoria to Renfrew for rockfish if you ever want to get out in the new year
