Unfortunately, I'm on call tomorrow. Since I don't know of any patients needing me to be there yet, I'm planning on paddling the Willy, looking for those chromers we all want to find.

Anyone care to join me?

Only a handful of boats out there for a reason...the fish have other things to do besides get caught yet. I paddled from Sellwood up to the RR bridge in Lake Oswego and didn't get a bite or see anyone else on anything either. I think I'll give up trying to catch early chrome and wait for the big push to start. Maybe the boys down south could school me in the salt  ;D

Pray for chrome

Don't give up, just put it on the back burner for awhile. Last two weeks of April first two weeks of May.  Pacific City was more than fishable this weekend.

As you said, it's just on the back burner for now. Next weekend I'll be otherwise occupied but I'll be looking for some salty fish the following weekend. I'm thinking of heading down south but anywhere I can actually catch some fish (besides Safeway) will be worth the drive.
