I'm certainly looking at Sunday.
Hopefully it won't change the way the last 6 days with promising forecasts did!
A day without fishing probably wouldn't kill me,
but why risk it?

Herring on Friday.
Saturday is out with serious south wind forecast.
Sunday you're looking at 5+ at 9 seconds on an upward trend.
This isn't a weekend I'd choose.

As it looks right now on MSW, I will tahr a pass on this weekend.

I am desperate to get out on the Salt, but that just doesn't look worthy of making the trip.

forecast down here is much better, MSW and NOAA in agreement- Friday is looking like a really nice Simpson Reef day out of Sunset Bay.

4' on 9s dropping to ~3' on 9s by about 11am and negligible wind, plus any late afternoon wind that might come up is forecast from SW which is a tailwind while heading back to the Sunset Bay.  I'm looking at about a 10am launch, ride the outgoing tide to Simpson reef and load the kayak with fish there into a low tide at 4pm.

Yes! Depoe it is for me. Either Friday or Saturday. Alsea bay for crab as alternate.

It's a volatile forecast, but all of a sudden, Saturday is looking really good. Watching it...
