Hi all,

It appears that the power cable for my Helix 5 has had a pin break off inside of the head unit.  Anyone have this problem and have any luck removing a stuck pin?  I would love to not have to pay the fees for sending in the head unit if I can help it.

Needle picks or strong magnetic would be my first two tries. I have done it with car connectors but they’re slightly looser I believe.

I had that happen with a lowrance unit many moons ago, ultimately ended up using a dental pick to wiggle it far enough that tweezers would grab it. Not a fun project.
