Yeah.  I remember you advised using razor clams.  In Westport I found a shop that sells razor clam bits for bait.  The clams are supplied by local boy scouts, and the shop sells them as public service [cash only].  In my first attempt at Westport I got 5 keepers.  12 at the North Jetty in Ilwaco is a generous limit - I had no idea...If I have time on my next trip - I'll give it a try.  If not I'll make a trip later this summer.
