Tillamook bay report for the 26th

4 and 1/2 of us launched with light clouds and a few drops of hardly any drizzle. Devout drop pots in crab harbor since I had my grandson on his first salt water trip. Fishing was ok crabbing chest plain sucked. Everyone caught fish and my grandson hooked a nice kelp greenling that swam into a rock making us believe he was snagged, I pulled the line by hand and it popped out and started head shaking so I let go and told him to land it. Had a blast as did he. Forgot the before taco removal pics

Nice. How old is the kid? I want to get fishing rods in my grandkids' hands asap since they are of age now.

He’s 12 this year, we’re discussing taking him and the father-in-law (double amputee) behind him in the photo out of depot bay. Not sure wheee your at but I have some gear he out grew.
