Last week fizzled but the truck is workin' fine so heading out this Sunday to give it a shot again. Will be launching on the south end of the lake at Clarke Beach Park on Mercer Island. Come on down!

Z,
Cold temps are forecasted for Sunday, but count me in!

What time are you planning to launch? And, are there any parking or launching fees at Clarke Beach Park?

Yeah, looks like a cold one for sure. I didn't get to fish last week and want to get a fish on the AOTY board. I have yet to go to Clarke so not sure about parking fees. Weather does look iffy... rain/snow showers...  :-\ Will update tomorrow I guess.

Yeah, totally. My bad. Went out with Noggin Yakker and Yessnoo on the south end out of Clarke Park. It's a free launch so that's good w/ a steep path to the water and a so/so/ put in. Definitely not an easy put in but it does put you right in the middle of the action.

When we made it there luckily the weather was holding out. The weather was pretty nuts. A little wind at my house w/ clouds, great looking downtown, rain/snowing on the 90 bridge, and then a hole of sunshine where we launched. Couldn't have asked for more than that. We launched with some clean conditions and I put out the downrigger. The fish were showing right at about 40' and below and my gear was on it. Passed some nice thick schools but didn't want what I had. Went back and go my first hookup, which then wrapped around some junk and came undone. Got back to it and had another really light hit. We trolled for a while longer but no action so went for a little dropshotting for SMB's. Tried and tried but nada. Trolled back to the beach with not even a small hit. There were a few boaters out and only one hookup so it wasn't on fire by any means. Was a great day on the water no less though. NY took some insane pics as usual!
