Looks promising, but I think I am going to give it a go at the mouth of the Lewis for a morning incoming tomorrow morning.

Do you launch from Sauvie Island? Always wanted to try this.

Others are more experienced than me but I have only launched from the Washington side.  Either at the beach at Austin point (free) or from the RV park just upstream from the mouth of the Lewis ($10 launch, but has ramp).  I think for a kayak those are the two best launches if you are trying to fish the actual mouth of the Lewis area.  you could do st. Helens and paddle/pedal across the river but that seems like a lot of work and time when you can just drop in at either of the WA launches

Austin Point Park. The road in there is a little sporty, but you can drive right down to the water where you fish.

One word….sloooooooooow.  Seemed like a few caught at first light bite and then saw one or two at the tide change

Sorry Beer Run, changed plan and went to Big C with  Shin09. Had one drive by. Was good to see a new area. Definitely  fishy, but I think it would be good for water temp to come down from the 69 degree surface temp.
