Is Jim Davis on here? He is running it. Last I heard it is a GO!

I am still not sure if I will be cleared to partake. Started physical therapy last. I can now put a little weight on it and walk with crutches.

Glad to hear you are healing up, just don't rush it (I know, easier said than done).

I got one of their campers reserved Thurs-Sun for me and the fam.

Here is the link to the New ORC Rules.  Please take special attention to this years format.  It aligns more closely with how other saltwater events are ran across the U.S. and in other countries.

If that link does not work please let me know.  You might have to Copy and paste it to your web browser for it to work.

the boundaries are the same as the past ORC events.  none of that got changed.  if it is actually a mile south that can be changed.

I am going to apologize up front for being a pain in the ass, but I have a few nitty picky issues with the rules for the ORC.

The rules read that the northern boundary in the northern end of the worldmark resorts. It may be a lesser known fact, but there is a different set of co dos north of the Worldmark condos. (I am a Worldmark owner) I will atta h a photo to show where the Worldmark property ends. Once you go North of Worldmark there are the Blue Pacific Vacation Rental co dos and then just north of that is Thundering shores condos.
In the photo attached the red dot is the northern most Worldmark building.

According to a straight line on OnX maps is about 1.29 miles between the launch at Fogarty and the Northern edge of Worldmark property. So all of that area is outside of the tournament boundaries.

Again my apologies Jim! But rules are rules.
