If you are planning on attending the Brownlee Crappie Shootout 10 this year, we are planning to have a fishing gear swap meet at around 4pm on Friday right before the captains meeting. Might be a good way to thin out some gear you have not used in a while or pick up tackle at a deal hopefully. I don't know if it will work but it sounded fun so we gonna try it out this year to see how it goes.

I can’t tell you who won because I didn’t know him and wasn’t paying as close attention as I should have, but I can tell you that after plenty of clear skies and generally good weather Thursday and Friday, Saturday was cool, wet, and windy. Fishing was still good and the winner put 6 species on the board. 4 species put you in the middle of the pack.
Jed put on a great tournament, which is his usual, but should still be heavily applauded. Everyone had a great time as far as I saw. I’m glad I made the trip over there again.
