Very happy to have Altama Boots on the Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament prize table this year.

Altama's footwear is used by various branches of the military, law enforcement agencies, and other public safety professionals. They also make some water boots that would be perfect for landing and launching kayaks in rough terrain.

Altama emphasizes its history of serving military personnel and its commitment to providing the best tactical footwear for every US military engagement since 1969. They are known for producing high-quality, Mil-Spec boots and tactical footwear that meet the demands of demanding environments and rigorous activities.

Altama designs and manufactures boots that prioritize both comfort and performance, recognizing the importance of these factors for those who wear them in challenging situations. All Altama products are made in the USA.

The Brownlee Crappie Shootout 10 donation is a gift code for a pair of their Boots. It does not specify a type so I am guessing it may be for any of their boots online at https://altama.com/

Thank you Altama for the great donation and for helping our Soldiers, LEO's, and First Responders.

Happy to have Leland's Lures back to the Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament. Leland's Lures are the makers of Trout Magnet and Crappie Magnet.

These lures are made in a very simple design that appeals to many species so can be used for a wide range of fish. I have found that baits with this profile can out fish other more specialized baits in terms of numbers so this lure should do well in the BCS tournament structure. I used some of these baits last year and caught crappie in several different colors.

"Leland's Lures began in 1997. It started with one lure, the Trout Magnet. Now Leland's Lures carries many products for trout and crappie enthusiasts. What began as a hobby for Jeff Smith and Todd Gainer, owners of Leland's Lures, has now developed into something more. These two, with many other friends and family, were catching more fish than anyone else on the stream. The secret kept among these friends for so many years is now available for everyone. "The Secret's Out!"

The Brownlee Crappie Shootout 10 donation is for a pile of their Fin Spin Jig Heads paired with their Chart/Red sparkle curly tail grubs. This looks like a deadly combination!

You can find Trout and Crappie Magnet in most of your local shops or online at https://troutmagnet.com/crappie-magnet.html

Thank you Leland's Lures for the great donation.

Immersion Research came through again for the Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament prize table.

IR is a fantastic local company based in Hood River, Oregon that caters to the watersports community. The owners are paddlers themselves so they have great insight on how layers and drysuits should function together and how to integrate these factors into their products.

This knowledge along with innovative designers and a dedicated staff of fellow kayakers on the production and repair floor makes this an easy choice if you are looking for a new drysuit form a local company.

They also have a full service repair shop and will work on most brands. This could be a great place to have your gear worked on locally and possibly cut down on time and costs.

Besides paddle gear, IR also offers outdoor apparel like shorts, dresses, and hoodies for everyday wear.
https://immersionresearch.com/...

The Brownlee Crappie Shootout 10 donation consists of:
-Zephyr Jacket XLarge Bluebird -Polyester face fabric helps the Zephyr Paddle Jacket stay lighter, breathe better, dry faster, and avoid condensation to keep you feeling dry. An articulated cut provides excellent freedom of movement.
-Balaclava Union Suit Large Eclipse Gray- The Polartec® Power Grid® Balaclava Union Suit is a revamped version of our popular K2 Union Suit. Featuring a chest entry zipper, circumferential waist relief zipper, and low profile hood, the Balaclava Union Suit is built with versatility and convenience in mind.
-Misdemeanor Change Robe OS Graype- As kayakers and outdoor enthusiasts, we're used to finding ourselves in compromised and exposed situations, but put-ins, takeouts, beaches, and parking lots shouldn't be one of them.
Cover your bits and play it safe with the Misdemeanor Change Robe, so sexy it's a crime.
But not actually, though. They can't arrest you for that.
-Trichrome T-shirt Large Avocado
-IR Old Man Hat Alligator
-Plus some sweet stickers

Thank you Immersion Research for the great local support.

Bob's Jigs Bob Hinkle is a long time supporter of the Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament and has sent some of his baits for participants to try out.

Bob is from the very place that the Brownlee Crappie Shootout 10 is held. A former resident of Richland, OR. Bob knows what the local crappie will bite and which colors are the most productive. He has since moved to Texas but is still making fantastic crappie baits in the latest colors and styles.

Bob's Jigs is a one man show that makes high quality baits at very competitive prices. His baits work well in most lakes as past BCS winner Brad Hole can attest to.
The donation is for an assortment of his Crappie baits and a few bass flat tail plastics that he is trying out.

Make sure you visit his site at https://www.bobsjigs.com/ to stock up on these great baits. If you want some insider information, email Bob with any questions or custom colors that you may want to try and he will try to accommodate your request. I have had custom colors made and they turned out perfect.

Thank you Bob for the continued support.

Big THANK YOU to Kayak Fishing Washington for securing a donation from Fisherman's Gold for the Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament

Owner Brock is making some great looking jigs and lures that really catches fish. Geared specifically for species in the Pacific Northwest, his lures trigger fish to bite and hang on.

He has lures that will work for multiple species to give you the best chance at filling your limit. His Electric Eel jigs will work for everything from rockfish to halibut and will absolutely kill on lings and cabezon.

I also like that he makes Flutter Jigs. Although they don't look like much I have used Flutter Jigs exactly like these to catch 13 different ocean species in one day. They can take some abuse and it does not effect the jigs at all. I especially like using them when I am fishing in deeper water. They get down to the bottom very quickly and keeps you in the zone even when wind and currents are moving you around.

He also has gear for Salmon, Crabs, and even squid!

The Brownlee Crappie Shootout 10 donation is for some of their Electric Eel Jigs in various sizes and colors.

I believe you can find their products at Sportco and Outdoor Emporium in the Seattle area or online at https://fishermansgold.com/

Thank you Brock for the great donation

Hagen's will be joining the BCS sponsor list again this year.

Hagen's offers a huge selection of DIY fishing lures and tackle. I love to visit their site and see what projects I can find to customize gear and save some money. They really do have almost everything such that I cannot even list their offerings, there is just too much to look at.

One item that they do make and you have probably heard of or used in the Hawg Trough. This measure device has been in most kayak fishing tournaments and is still very popular today.

Along with components they do offer ready made products from various makers so be sure to check out their online site at https://www.hagensfish.com/
The donation is for some of their 3 7/8 finished Steel Flashers

Thank you Hagen's Fishing for the support.

Please welcome a fantastic new sponsor this year, Pulpo Leash has sent some of their great products to the Brownlee Crappie Shootout Kayak Fishing Tournament prize table.

With the Catch/Photo/Release format of the Brownlee Crappie Shootout 10, and most other kayak fishing tournaments, having a reliable way to keep your phone in your kayak is very important. I know there there has been anglers in past BCS tournaments that lost their phones on the water and had no way of submitting their fish.

In larger, big money tournaments, losing your phone might not only be for the cost and trouble of your losing your phone but if you had a great day on the water you could be forfeiting a huge payout. Phones are also an invaluable device in the case of an emergency or other situations.

Pulpo offers Lanyard and Leashes that will help you keep your booty out of Davy Jones's Locker. It is a very small investment in gear insurance that every kayak angler should utilize.

The donation is for 5 of their Safety Phone Lanyards
This is a small company that could really use our support so please check out the Pulpo online shop at https://pulpoleash.com/... Or on Amazon

Thank you so much Pulpo team for the super useful donation.

Ignik was started by a family that takes adventure seriously and holds the health of the environment in the highest regard. Their story is pretty cool and their products are made to keep you warm.

Taking in to consideration the impact of man made products on the environment, Ignik tries to produce the highest quality goods that can be reused to lessen the impact on their surroundings. Based in Washington, they understand the harsh PNW conditions their goods need withstand and try to make gear that will withstand the test of time.

I use these warmers while fishing in the Winter for walleye and other species and love how they keep me warm.

These compact  and portable gas burning fire pits are very handy units that put out heat without the nuisance of smoke or the mess of a traditional pit. They can be move to the optimal place in your camp and can be used in conjunction with their Growlers to extend the burn time of the unit.
