Good luck Scott.  A little more notice and I might not have gone to work today.  I saw some reports of decent sized brooder trout being yanked out of Hagg trolling.  If the weather holds, I may head out that way on Saturday.

Saaweeet set up Scott.  I've seen small planes with lesser consoles.  Hook 'em up.  Sorry I can't make it this time.

Thanks Zee, I'm fully aware of the crappy weekend we'll probably be having.  I just like to stay a little optimistic if possible.

Could be good if you get out there early enough. :icon_thumright:

Huhhhh........, yeahhhhh.....   about that....  :-\

I didn't get a single bite all day until just after Scott bailed, around 3ish.  Then that bite was a good one, and it turned my worm into lace!   However, it didn't want to play again.   I only saw 3 fish on my fish finder all day, and this seems to be the same from what other boaters were telling me.  I didn't witness ANYONE catching a fish all day.

Now, as I was getting out I chatted with a feller that saw a banker net a 10lb'r.   Lucky soul.

Water was in the mid 40's, calm, very very little wind, and lots of debris in the water.  More so as you get closer to the dam.

Hopefully, next time we'll get lucky.

Oh, met another guy at the truck that was just getting ready to leave that had a small Perception  sit-in yak, and as I crossed the dam to leave there was another yellow kayak that looked like a OK Prowler 13 really close to the spillway.

It was funny, before I took off to go to Hagg this morning, I checked if the wife had any plans that included me.  While I was getting things strapped down, she was off and leaving before me 1130am.  Turns out she got a call to go play tennis today with a neighbor.  ::)   I'm home now, and she still isn't.  Where's my dinner?  Just kidding!

Hey, Scott C - we'll get em next time bro!

DOH!   :BangHead:

It's Friday 13th, I'm lucky I didn't drowned or something.  What were we thinking going out on the lake today?  There's no way fish were going to commit suicide today, that is reserved for humans.

 ;D

That's what I love about our sport.  A bad day of kayak fishing is better than a bad day of fishing.  Way to be on the water.

Yeah, I heard that guy left didn't catch anything either.

Brian, that was you?  Did you have Owen in front of you when you were out near the spillway?  It looked like there was a kid on board, but I couldn't make for sure as there was too much glare in the water around the kayak.
