I saw this on some online newspaper and thought with some tweaking, I could make something very similar on the cheap.

Already have several lead head jigs with the split tails, and also have a few "butter knife" handles to turn into lures.



Also found these crazy stretchy 12" long hairy kelp worm looking things at the Dollar Tree the other day. 
They are green and blue with rubbery sea urchin looking wigglies all over the place.  Might have to get creative with these!
