Wow: Just checked out the NRS drysuit at Alder Creek and it looks like a great suit for a beginner. What would you guys wear under it on the Columbia or on the coast?

Anything but cotton!

I like fleece and polypro.

REI house brand heavyweight polypro is teriffic----the top has a sorta turtlenck and zip at neck for ventilation. I love mine! THe downside is the bottoms don't have a fly, gotta pull em down for relief....

It's a great suit for the money. It's basically selling at wholesale. Not as nice as the kokatat, but it works, and NRS backs their product for life.

The suit may fail in a couple years, but NRS will replace it.

Check. REI heavyweight polypro as the first layer under a dry suit.

What's the next layer?
