Went fishing in the Hillsbourgh river near Tampa on Monday, caught & released 3 bass and a dozen speck.
Will be heading out for the Oregon coast on Wednesday for the summer. Will be in Lincoln city for 5 months. The first pic is my rig, if you see me say Hi and maybe we can get out to do some fishing.
I should be on the coast on May 1st.

wow looks nice and warm.  I'm jealous.

BTW, is a speck the same as a crappie?  Where I grew up we actually called crappie "strawberry bass" or "calico bass".. I have no idea why.

By "third" I mean "fifth." I need to learn how to count.

Yes, in Florida they call crappie, specks. They must like the warm weather because the grow really big.

This is a great river for fishing & kayaking but not much for swimming.
