Thanks everyone who showed up to help me out.  You made my job a whole lot easier.  We seemed to have at least a few folks stop by that sounded really interested in kayak fishing.   Hopefully we've gained a few new members.

Jason,

I think next year, Alder Creek should have "dry suit races" during the festival.    They do this at the "Georgian Bay Kayak & Canoe Festival" up in Ontario, Canada.  Vancouver Lake is all set for it, esp. with those rowing boat (crew) racing lanes out there on the lake.

Man, there are so many things wrong with that image :-[, and so many things I should not say about it >:D

I think both days total we had 6 or 700 people

I was only able to make it up Sunday, which was much slower and laid back than Saturday from what I heard.
Here are some of my pics from the day...

Very cool!   Looks like it was a good turn out even on Sunday.

Just wait, and watch the number of members here climb in the coming weeks.

By the way, if you're just signing up to the site and found out about us at the Alder Creek Paddle Festival, let us know and introduce yourself.    It's always nice to have some feed back on whether our participation at these kinds of events actually increases our membership.

Thanks,
Brian
