Joe, did you order the T13 Angler?

Yes.

I know that wasn't me saying you are to big for the t-13....seeing as ours have yet to arrive, couldn't have been my shop. I have a t-15 that seems like it would hold a thousand pounds.

Not you.

Wow, we should get a group pic with all these T13's and get it posted on OK's website.

Now, if they would just make a lime green T13A, I'm sure I'd be on the hook for one (not that I need another just yet).   ;D

What are scupper plugs used for?  Obviously they are used to plug the scupper holes, but why?  Anyone use them?

plugs are a must for slow water or lake fishing.
Heck, I even use mine at work, waxing Yachts.
in fact the only time I don't use the plugs is when I am in a fast river or the Big Pond. ;)

Thanks.  Sounds like I will need plugs.  Does a T13A come with plugs?  If not, how many of each size do they take?

good question...go to the Ocean Kayak website and search for that scupper plug chart. They list each boat and plugs needed for it.

One pair of mediums, one pair of smalls. I wouldn't plug the tank well.

Thanks.  Sounds like I will need plugs.  Does a T13A come with plugs?  If not, how many of each size do they take?

(*^*&%^$(()^%*%!!!! plugs again....

before you lay out the money for them, find someone willing to loan you theirs, if they still know where they are ....

when i first bought my T15, i did like a lot of others and bought plugs to fill all the holes... one trip, my 1st out on the yak, and i put them someplace where they wont touch the boat. i stay much drier without them than with them in... doesnt matter if you are in salt or a lake, whatever.. try your ride both plugged and unplugged first before you go lay out the coin for something you may only ever use once the entire time you own your boat...

Ahh ... obviously a very common newbie question :-)

On the cigar forums the question is, "should I  store my sticks with cellophane on or off (those that come in a sleeve)?  On the firearm forums it's, "should I get a revolver or pistol".  On the flying forums it's, "high wing or low wing?"  Then there's, right hand or left hand, but that's an entirely different forum.

Actually no it isn't a common question.  I think Richard was just expressing his frustration with them ...

I opted not to get them when I purchased my T13.   I figure if I need a drier ride I could always make some from closed cell foam plugs.   However since I am 90% water tight in the clothing department, I completely forgot about the need for them.  Heck, I still don't know what their purpose is.   :-\

No problem.  Half the time I am confused; the other half I don't remember.
