The swell report looks like we've turned the corner on everyday big swell. I want to get out and explore some new grounds, including Baltimore Rock and down farther south towards Simpsons Reef.I can go any day, what days are good for you?

Justin, you want to go out on tuesday?
See ya on the water..

Are you still considering fishing Tuesday 4/21?  Ocean swell looks big up north but if you have good conditions I might be interested.  Some time in front of a camp fire would be nice and the weather should cooperate.  If you are going and don't mind some company, let me know.  Good luck -

Alan

Monday I'll travel and look for a yurt at the campground.  Like I said, some campfire time would be nice.  I'll pm some phone numbers too.  Looking forward to it -

Keep in mind that the photo was taken about 60 or so feet above the water. The waves rolling into the cove were about 8-10'.

Roy,

My days off have been changing and I have to work 12's all this week so I will not be able to make it unless I get no sleep.  I might be able to go out this coming weekend, maybe.  I will know more later this week.  My schedule should be more permanent next month.

I am with you wanting to do some exploring north and south of Sunset.  By the way, what is a good lubricant for the rudder cables?  Mine are getting really stiff.  Good luck and post some pics for me.

Loosen the large nut on the rudder mechanism just a touch and then lube it with silicone spray. Dry silicone apray is the best stuff to use  but It's kinda hard to find. Napa or carquest might have it. That should take care of it for a while.

Hopefully the conditio9ns hold into the weekend, i'll go out with ya on saturday if you can..
