Any one interested in getting out around Lincoln City this Sunday/Monday 5/17 & 18? I'm thinking right now of trolling Nestucca tidewater for springers, but may also go for lings & crabs somewhere else close by.....or if the surf is good......we have options.

While you're in Lincoln city, you should give Nelscott Reef a go.  You can either launch out from the beach or head out the rivermouth on the south side of town.

The reef stretches the length of Lincoln City.

Jason,
Sorry we didn't meet up. Did you get out in the morning? The afternoon got windy and cloudy.

Ended up at the mouth of the Salmon surfing kayaks and beach lounging.....I've been lacking motivation lately to get out and fish.....trying to recharge the fishing batteries after my dismal columbia springer season, and felt the need for speed.

It was blowin 20+mph when I got outside the head Sunday afternoon....I was planning on trying the handline outside by the stacks, but I couldn't find a tackle shop in Lincoln City and decided to just go play instead seeing as the time was limited, and I had no bait or jiggs!

Nothing helps recharge the fishing batteries like some hot rockfish/lingcod action.
