Lame.  One last run of them, eh?  I take it that I can get one from your shop, J?

Just got my Scupper Pro and it looks sporty! Can't wait to get it out and abuse it. You're welcome to demo it any time, just call me at the shop a day or two before so I can haul it up there.

How sturdy are the rails on the Tarpon 160?  Does anyone know if that slidetrax thing can handle more than just GPS/FF on it?  Supposedly it can take a Scotty rod holder...

I think I'm going to switch to one of those in a month or two.

Hey, why is it Trident 13 vs Tarpon 160 instead of Trident 15 vs Tarpon 160?

Hrm, REI lists the Trident 15 for 1329.  I saw two Trident 15s for under 800 last night at Sportco in Fife.  They may not have had rudders or rails in the cockpits, can't remember.  Seems to me adding those would cost less than $500 though!

I didn't look at them too closely, was trying to keep my daughter from playing with the loomis poles.  I can't afford those!

was looking at all those too the other day when there. the t15's are sans rudder, but do have the flank mount flush mount rod holders, rod pods enabled and battery bags inside.( i peeked) the basic stock seat were either tucked inside or attached, but if nalurider still has one for sale, i'd jump on it for the cushy upgrade.

the loomie rods? uhhh sorry even my higher end beer budget wont allow those.. but they didnt appeal to me, either.

did see that that store has a pair of old towne vapor 12xt's... these were made for fishing, look like a T15 got drunk and had hot plastic sex with a Dagger white water boat, and this is the mutant offspring.. honestly after looking at one, i think it might actually be a good choice for someone who wants a SInK for fishing, but also for playing in the local lakes.

you take the little one out fishing much? i bet she has a blast every time. just wait til she asks for her own boat.. then you know ya done right
