I've seen discussions of a number of video cams out there but never this one. http://sanyo.com/xacti/english/products/vpc_ca9/index.html  Any opinions? For the price, you get stills and video at decent resolutions.

I have the VPC-E2, an earlier version of this cam that shoot SD video and stills.  I don't think I like if that much.  The trigger grip does NOT fit in my hands very well, and it is a slow camera.  After you push the button to take a pic, it doesn't respond very fast and the pic to pic timing is very slow IMO.  Picture quality is OK.  Video quality is a little better than OK.  But I was expecting better.  I don't know how the HD version is in comparison to the earlier SD versions (E2 and E1).
