I like tossing irons and thought I'd share this easy, and yes Ghetto, cheap and safe storage unit...pipe insulation ::)

hooks are safe, the lures are easy to choose from. And, they come in many sizes  ;)

COOOOOOOOL! I'll bet it'd work for spoons too.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day...
Teach a man to fish and he will sit at his miserable job all day wishing he was fishing...

Beautiful!  I love the simplicity.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Hmmm...simple and cheap.  What could be better?

So are those the secret colors to use if I ever make it down south?

Probably old news, but just in case, one can also use pipe insulation or round pool noodles to store pre-rigged leaders/lures.  Use a small stick pin to secure the swivel loop.

I mean, I knew it was "trolling" gear, but I never thought I'd catch fish with that kind of lure!
