Zee- You guys need another sponsor and prizes? I/we (alder creek) can't attend but would like to contribute anyways.

What do you propose?  We have a couple other prizes coming in for the ORC, but would also consider a few more for AOTY.

Not sure, just e-mailed the owner to check his level of interest.

I know we as a comapny do ALLOT of donations for other events and causes.

We've donated $3500 FG sea kayaks before to Make a Wish, White water boats to a disabled paddler who had his boat stolen etc.

Thanks guys.

Who's brining the deep fryer?  That Panko rock fish was worth the entry fee!

Seriously, who has a fryer they can bring? If there isn't one I'm gonna have to spring for one. A rockfish tournament just ain't rockfish tournament w/o a fish fry afterwards.

Z

Will there be electricity at the Potluck site? If so, i can bring a deep fryer, maybe a few fryers would be good for different flavors and techniques...

According to the Beverly Beach State Park site there are 53 full hookup, 75 electrical, 128 tent sites.  I'm signed up for a tent site myself, so I doubt there will be electricity there.  Did anyone get a full hookup or electric site?

Regular old propane camp stoves work well too.  I can't bring the frying gear as I don't have room for a turkey fryer on the plane, but will definitely man the kitchen.  I'll bring the panko too.

I'll be bringing a 2 burner Coleman propane stove and a Weber Smokey Joe. I was planning on only bringing a small propane cannister or 2 but, if someone has one of those big stoves, I'd be willing to bring a large propane tank to fuel it.

I know Dave did but he's way back in boonyville. Guess a coleman stove will have to do, just don't let me cook on it, i'll blow something up for sure. I'm not good at setting the heat so far. I can bring a pot for oil though and some batter mixings and some oil.

what kind of oil does the cook prefer?

Peanut oil is the best, but not too cost effective.  I usually roll with Canola and it works just fine.

I could swear that I just posted, but here goes again.

I've got a two burner (33,000 BTU each burner) camp stove with a 4 gallon propane tank and a 5 gallon pot with strainer for crabs if anyone wants to head out and drop some pots.

Question re: parking at Depoe Bay on launch day.  I know I am coming down, most likely by my lonesome, and my car top only has room for one boat.  We may have a flotilla assembled - and that is a lot of cars/trucks - if I remember the parking lot down by the boat launch, there isn't much.  Anyone bringing a trailer or truck with room for multiples?
