Slighty used 2006 Hobie Outback.

Boat with all the standard gear, plus a rod holder (never installed), cart that fits in the scupper hole, 1.5 lbs anchor and bag, small dry bag, and a Hobie cooler cost $1100.  Not sure if it was a good deal, but it certainly looked better than the $1500 the local dealer wants for a new one (or $1800 for the fishing package).

Can't wait to get it out on the water!

Looks like a really nice boat for a great price.  I'm going to be interested in your impressions as I'm also interested in this boat.  It's short enough to throw in the back of my long bed pickup where as the Revolution might be a little long.  I've even thought about the shorter Hobie Sport for that same reason.  The wider beam of the Outback should make a great fishing/crabbing platform.

Looks like it's in great condition 3W, NIIIIICE purchase :o

About the cart, take it very easy when it comes to bumps. For me, the white part of the wheel developed cracks almost immmediately and then shattered when I took it down a 3" drop about 4 months later. The end caps of the tubes and hub caps all popped out and the foam peeled off. So basically glue everything that you can down and wrap the foam in duct tape before it explodes like it did to me. And if you do have the cash, replace the wheels with the pneumatic ones. Carrying your yak 1/2 a mile after a long day because your stupid cart exploded will get on your nerves.  >:(

If you have any questions in particular about pimpin this yak etc. fire away!  ;)

Thanks... I've been sucked into a work vortex these last few weeks, but I hope to do some fishing this weekend.
