I've had a few yaks in my day and none have developed problems so far. I think storing it correctly in a cool place makes a big difference,

Right, I just hope to keep my gear in the best condition as possible, would help with the resale value and all that....

Marilyn, I just started using 303 a couple months ago after noticing my yak was starting to fade.  I think that was only the second time it had been washed other than naturally in the rain.
