Anyone interested?  The NOAA forecast looks like the wind and wind waves will be down in the AM, and while the swell looks a little on the bumpy ride side, I'm really jonesing to get on the water again and maybe catch a fish or 9.

So, anyone down?  I am actually going to plan ahead and pack my car tonight, so that I can (fingers crossed) reach the beach before the sun is too high in the sky.

Listen closely....do you hear that....it's an echo....

I wish I could go but I just shifted back to a M-F schedule for the first time in over 2 years.

Good Luck

Okay, weather report looks great for wind - but the swell size and period looks a little more than what would be comfortable/safe.

TODAY
NW WIND 5 KT...RISING TO 10 KT IN THE AFTERNOON. WIND
WAVES 1 FOOT. NW SWELL 5 FT AT 7 SECONDS. PATCHY FOG EARLY IN
THE MORNING

Gonna save the gas. :(

One of these days.  I even had the car packed and ready

Maybe try crabbing in the estuary near SandLake, just north of Cape Kiwanda.
Eassssssssssssy paddle from launch to pot drop, probably 100 feet.  ;D

Look for Whalen Island, and you're there.
