N wind 5 to 15 kt...rising to 15 to 20 kt late in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 ft or less...becoming 3 ft in the afternoon. Swell NW 6 ft at 8 seconds. Patchy fog in the morning.
   
   Give it a look Monday,, Maybe be able to fish inside middle reef ?

Been jonesing to get back out at Sunset. Lately, it seems that when conditions are good, I can't make it. It looks like it will be calming down next week. Hopefully I will be able to try it then.

   GD,,Swell going down some later in the week,,Hope you can make it down then.. These clam tides are silting things up some but looks doable.. Only 5 min. away for me ,, need some bendo time !!

Are you guys getting the south swell right now?  I don't think it's made its way up there yet.  I had planned on fishing the ocean down here, but the south swell mixed in with a northwest swell made the ocean a washing machine even though the winds were relatively light.  I chose not to fish.

 Just NW swell , short sloppy stuff,,, Hate it with two wave trains, the rock structer at Sunset is long vertical face out of deep water , so there is lots of reverb coming back.. Like you say,, washing machine.. will stay inside tomorrow if we get out..

 Went to sunset late,, Mike was  fishing in colse, didn't hear what he did ,,Reed and i went the Umpqua river,, lots of smallies, got one 14 1/2 incher and lots of practice fish...royg
