Any fees required to park there?

Can we fish under the docks along the river, or will the owners shoot at us?

Also, how deep of water are we looking at here?  Is it anchor friendly, or even necessary?

Lake Oswego isn't exactly a haven for gun toting vigilantes.  Although, I suppose they might have hired private security to do the job.

This time of year the current shouldn't be an issue.  As for anchor friendly, we anchor here often in the winter for sturgeon fishing without any problem.

Try the docks on the LO side, down river of the park, fish the water between the docks and the shore, crappies! Micro jigs with very small floats..

Got a pic for reference of the Micro jig and very small float?  Not sure I picture what you're throw'n out there.
Are the crappie worth keeping and eating from this part of the river?  Again, I've never been over on that part of the river, so I'm at a complete beginning here.  8)

Brian, that day this early spring we went sturgeon fishing down under the St. Johns, you mentioned another location for sturgeon near LO, was this the location you were talking about?

Ssshhh!

Actually we had a big meet up in December there for sturgeon last year.

I'll be leaving the anchor at home for bassin.  There are docks, rocks and log jams o-plenty and I think they all hold plenty of smallies.

Depends on if you care to reproduce any time soon.  Actually, a few now and then probably won't kill you, but I wouldn't want to make it a staple of my diet.

Also, a 12" crappie is probably a decent AOTY panfish upgrade.

I'm past the need to reproduce anymore.  Already had the twins adjusted.  ;D

I'm interested, but Thursday is a no-go for me (busy all day, and then dryland social life).

I'm interested in any reports

If you're nice to me on thursday, I'll point out a few spots... like the spot I went 10 for 12 in 4 hours...

10 for 12 on keepers or 10 for 12 on sturgeon in general?

10 for 12 in general
6 of those that surfaced were keepers
so, even ruling out the 2 I never saw, 60% is some good stuff!
