Yep, I've got tent space available as Madoc plans to sleep in his vehicle. I'll have to check the regs on the number of vehicles though. We may need to get a little creative.

Well, it looks like I'm out.  My wife is just way too pregnant (due within two weeks of the tournament date).  Not that she's likely to give birth next weekend, but it could happen and I would never be forgiven.  Besides, she's having a hard time keeping up with our 3 1/2 year old by herself these days (always tired, bad back).

And Sailfish had to bail due to work reasons.  ChuckE is likely to take his place.  Any of you Hobie guys gonna hook brother Chuck up with a Hobie?  ChuckE is the uber-frymaster.  I learned the trade from him.  You all are in for a real treat.

Bummer, it would be nice to catch up with ChuckE and eat some of his fried fish.

Too bad B, good choice though. Don't think there is any amount of fresh fish that could make up for missing the birth of your child..
See ya on the water..

mmmm.... so.... who can give me tips on food grinds on Maui?

Anyone know a shop/guide that can outfit a hobie and take me fishin'?

Yes, I'm bound for Haleakela for 8 days on no notice.  It was a tough choice.   ??? Eh... wait.  Not really a tough choice  ;D

I'm going to keep the campsite reservation but move the name into cobrakak's name, so ya'll will still have that region of the camping locked down.

Aloha all!!!

Hey, isn't ChuckE the one with the special fry cooks apron?  You know, the apron that Bsteves wife likes so much?  Lol!

Hey guys, I'm going to make it this year!!..  Had the busiest summer of my life, always on the go, did not find the time to get any salt fishing in at all (the conditions never worked with my schedule)  So being as I still haven't caught anything larger than trout/bass I'm considering myself a newb when it comes to the salt (and salmon).  I'm in good paddling shape and can keep up if someone is kind enough to let me shadow.  I've never successfully jigged, read what to do online before without much success.   Had one session in the salt this year practicing a little launching/surfing/landing, but no gear was taken other than safety gear.

Very excited, all i want for my birthday is to not get skunked!  ;D

Jay

IIRC, it is $5 for each vehicle beyond the first one, with a cap of 8 people per tent site.  Each campground has their own regs regarding how many vehicles total at each site, but normally a tent site can handle 2-3 medium sized vehicles.

The newbie/salt side bet is officially off but I'd be happy to team up with you.
Are you still sporting a Sit Inside?  If so, you are bringing a skirt right?  Right?  Right?!?

The boys want to know if you're brining your dog along.  :D
