How will you determine 'newbie' status?

Sonny,
Looks like my link on this thread went bad (I've removed it).
Try the button on the right hand side of the home page, it should work..

Loser of the PP/Spot bet, still dropping out of 2009 AOTY?

I like that one, as it definetely changes the odds for the rest of us.

  Not really,  :-\

But it sounds so "Game on" compared to toting around a handicap with the risk of wearing a G string on the outside of the clothes and filleting the winners fish.   What's in it for the newbie, as he/she could really screw it for their "Salty" if they wanted to.   >:D

This is starting to sound good... i have appropriate newb status, and shouldn't have a problem keeping up with a 5m paddle... hmmm.... >:D

I am by no way considering myself a complete newbie at this point, yet at the same time I know I can't keep up with Pelagic in the paddle department.  Dude is fast at paddling that barge, BTDT!  Good luck to whomever gets paired up with Pelagic.

As for Spot, he's just plain nutz!

Madoc will be parking in my site but sleeping in his car. You are welcome to toss a tent out...

Jay, I'd like to confirm we'll take that spot.  Which one is it?

As for the newbie contest.  I want in.  If my newbie and I lose, here's what we'll provide to the winning team.  We'll wash down all your gear and fetch you a beer whenever you snap your fingers for the rest of the night.  Ummm ... I'll wash down all your gear and the newbie will fetch you and me a beer whenever you snap your fingers for the rest of the night.

OK PP (paddler not pole) what say we adopt Allens prize definition, keep the fish cleaning and drop the G-Strings?  Umm, so to speak.,,,,
