Oh my,

I just demod this SOT and it is increadable. 32 pounds, responsive to edging, and fast as hell. I want one reeeeeaaaaaal bad.

It's basically a dumbed down wave ski. 15 ft x 23 beam

Wow!  That'll make a great ORC2 prize!   ;)

If you want real speed for that kind of money, get an OK Torque.
None of us is as dumb as all of us.

nice Zee. I see your point.

It's the weight of the poly vs. the glass or carbon I guess that makes a difference to me. And, I enjoy using a paddle. For me that's what it's all about. Can't ever see my self using any kind of motor or pedal drive.

I haven't used the Namu in the surf yet, but I'm interested to see how a boat with no rocker handles. Seems to me the bow would pearl, but I'm no physics genius.

32lbs is allot easier to get moving and get a quick response from vs. 60-90lbs.

But for cruising with a load, I can see the potential in the hobie hull design. I bet it IS fast.

Maybe I'll race you in the Kayak Pro Nemo instead of my explorer ;)

Yeah the weight is really different. Although the Adventure doesn't have the keel to make it a super paddler it's a really nice paddle with the rudder down. The rocker lines look almost identical and I can say it'll most likely punch through waves. Because of it's buoyancy it makes it 3/4 of the way up the face and then punches through the last 1/4. No bigs up to about 4 ft. waves.
