Took a while to find fish, no meter marks. Blacks usually suspend at 10-12 ft and shallow by the rocks but no go., got the jig rod out and found them tight to the bottom. down slope of reefs, ocean side.. One good ling and got ripped off again by a cave dweller. seems to be my ling quota, one in box ,one in rocks. Big blacks, by noon the north wind had started and we didn't let a whitecap get between us and the beach!.. Team Ralph and Reed were there also. Great day !
