There are still some nice trout in Lake Erie and I finally found time to get the kayak out for the first time this year.  Been busy with the house, but today was just too nice not to go fishing.  The attached picture tells it all.

I launched at 2PM this afternoon and pulled out at 3PM.  Only about 1/4 mile paddle each way.  I fished a home tied fly that very closely resembled chartreuse power bait ;)

Gotta try for some butts and lincod before the season closes on me.  Today just reaffirmed how much fun kayak fishing really is  ;D

Good luck out there,

Gary

Very Nice!

I was extremely tempted to play hooky, today. Didn't want to risk losing WAF, though. Missing hours on the pay stub doesn't look too good.  ::)
